Alan Colledge meets Kevin Nicks

We had an extremely exciting meeting yesterday at our Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions office, our own Alan Colledge met Kevin Nicks. Kevin Nicks is a world-renowned engineer who has set multiple land speed records with his numerous creations. Kevin has built the world’s fastest shed, the Barrow of Speed, Freddie the Sheddie and Wendy House. What’s amazing about all these creations Kevin has built them solely on his own in his workshop using lots of recycled materials and old engine components.

Kevin is often in attendance at lots of race days and media events travelling with his fascinating creations, featuring in multiple national newspapers attracting huge engagement everywhere he travels, filmed with Top Gear, BBC, ITV, Discovery Channel, just to name a few. He actively holds a number of Guinness World Records for breaking speed marks and you can often catch him on race days.

Kevin had a meeting at our site yesterday discussing the prospect of some future projects, our own Alan Colledge said “Kevin makes his unique racing vehicles from recycled motors and parts and is looking to make his next venture electric.
