Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions team up with Greenlance

Greenlance, the up-and-coming E-bike battery company, has teamed up with Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions to close their supply chain, allowing them to provide a sustainable solution to the ongoing issue of Lithium Battery Recycling.

Founded in September 2021, Greenlance specialises in the production of Lithium bicycle batteries and premium e-bike batteries. The partnership between Greenlance and Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions will allow them to be one of the first E-Bike battery companies that materially recycles its own batteries starting in the UK.

Alan Colledge, Technical Director at LBRS commented:
“Sustainability and safety are at the centre of our vision and being able to work with a like-minded company like Greenlance allows us to demonstrate how our expertise can be used in sustainable methods of transport.”

“Greenlance care greatly about the process of end-of-life Lithium batteries and we’re thrilled to be able to work together to offer them a sustainable solution for handling these batteries as they reach their end-of-life.”

Lithium batteries can be very dangerous and can pose a significant health and safety risk if not handled correctly. As such organisations need to work with experienced specialists - that’s where Lithium Battery Recycling Solutions step in. As lithium battery recycling experts, they can help with all aspects of battery management – disposal, storage, transportation, dismantling and recycling.”

Hristiyan Mihaylov, CEO of Greenlance added:
“We’re excited to be working in partnership with LBRS. This organisation plays an important role in achieving our environmental ambitions by allowing us to turn end-of-life batteries into a resource rather than viewing them as waste”

“Working collaboratively, we believe we can help emphasise the importance of the recycling of Lithium- Ion- Batteries and the many additional purposes end-of-life batteries can offer to businesses. “
